Testimonials

"Doug and I have worked together on projects for seven years. I've hired Doug for studio shoots, plus on-site shoots from cold mountain ledges to damp caverns. He is always a professional and always goes above and beyond what I expect to deliver great results. When you absolutely have to have a certain shot for an ad, Doug is the person to call."

"Doug's definitely blessed with a creative eye for perspective and composition. He's a perfectionist in the true sense of the term: He's an incredibly hard worker, and I do mean blood, sweat and tears! He's got the patience to painstakingly perfect the details and maintain integrity to his vision. Sure, he works for a living like the rest of us, but a big part of his reward comes from evoking emotion and producing art that enriches the lives of others."

"Doug has been a loyal client of North Light Imaging since it's conception in 1996. His passion and expertise with photography is obvious... I have seen thousands of images over the years pass through my lab and Doug is definitely a standout amongst his peers."

-Chris Oughtred
 Owner/Operator
 North Light Imaging Service

"Doug Barnette was a pleasure to work with, even in a less-than-ideal shooting location: the inside of a paper mill! Mill employees don't list "being professionally photographed" as part of their average days, yet Doug was able to coax some great shots out of them. He also creatively worked with the conditions at hand -- available lighting, challenging angles, dramatic temperature fluctuations -- cheerfully and inventively. I was highly pleased with his output on two separate occasions."
